Sallie Ann Glassman owns
and operates this special
store. She is a practitioner
of Haitian Vodou, a writer,
and an artist.

As an initiated Vodou
Priestess, Sallie Ann is
one of a handful of
Americans ordained into Vodou in the traditional
Haitian initiation.

Sallie Ann is internationally recognized for her
lectures, art, readings, and healing ceremonies.

A visit to the Island of Salvation Botanica will
enlighten you in the rich blend of culture and
spiritual traditions that is New Orleans. The
shop carries Vodou religious supplies, medicinal
herbs, and works of art. It is considered to be
one of the most authentic Vodou shops in New
Orleans by locals and visitors alike.

Located in the New Orleans Healing Center, a
project that Sallie co-developed, the shop is .05

Schedule a reading

To schedule a reading with Sallie or other psychics please call the shop as we do not schedule readings online. We book up very quickly so please be flexible with the times. Sallie offers both in person readings at the Island of Salvation Botanica and on the phone. The cost of the readings is $75 for 1/2 hour and $150 for the hour. Call us at (504) 948-9961 to schedule.
